Condux engineers designed the speed in by making the cable travel at the same speed as the air! A carrier is always attached to the front of the cable. Compressed air propels the carrier and cable through the air-tight sealed duct in a matter of seconds. And, because air flow and tractor drive speed can be adjusted, you can install fiber at the rate which best suits any application.
Compared to other models on the market, the Condux Fiber Optic Cable Blower features longer tractor feed grip area for less stress on the cable. Condux incorporates a hydraulic cylinder on the tractor feed to better control down pressure.
A refined speed and distance counter with LCD read-out, as well as convenient hydraulic and pneumatic controls come standard with the Condux blower. An optional electronic control system is available to monitor the cable and tractor drive speeds. This system will shut down the blower if cable slippage, an over-speed situation or a cable stoppage is detected.
